A H Marks and Company Limited manufactures a wide range of speciality chemicals for use in a diverse number of applications, but is most widely known as a supplier of phenoxy propionic, acetic and butyric herbicides in the form of MCPA, DB and MCPB, CMPP-p and DP-p and 2,4-D to the agricultural sector.

The above active ingredients are formulated and subsequently marketed under a number of trade names. The key brands are the OPTICAŽ and AGROXONEŽ ranges, MATON, BUTOXONEŽ, and HERBOXONEŽ.

The Crop Protection Department offers expertise to develop new herbicide formulations. We have the facility to conduct our own field trials on commercial farms in the UK and maintain close links with authorities outside the UK in order to establish development programmes world wide.

Our Regulatory Affairs group ensures that the requirements of various registration authorities are met. Through membership of Industry Task Forces, A H Marks has ownership of the latest toxicological and environmental data on our active ingredients, essential for meeting the stringent requirements of registration authorities worldwide.
